ALUR or LAKAR: which artwork fits your story?

Choose ALUR when the shape of the landscape is part of your memory. Choose LAKAR when the route, map or places tell the story.

ALUR — the terrain has a physical shape.

For a hiker, runner or cyclist.

Think about the moment the gift should bring back. If it is the climb, contours and shape of a mountain, start with ALUR. If it is a city race, a cycling loop or a route through familiar streets, start with LAKAR Route. Both let you preview and personalise the available design options before buying.

For a memory attached to a place.

A recorded activity is not always part of the story. LAKAR Story lets you search for meaningful places and build the artwork around them. It can suit a favourite destination or a connection between places without needing a GPX file.

For an achievement with a medal.

Choose the Medal Edition of the style you prefer. Measure your own medal and compare it with the designer’s available sizes. The sample medal in the preview is a guide; a medal is not supplied with the artwork.

Check the finished design.

Review the names, dates, route placement, format and orientation. The product page shows current availability and pricing. If you are unsure which option suits your route, ask PGLAB before ordering.
