PGLAB / GUIDES
How your PAUT NFC business card works.
PAUT brings together a printed card and an online profile. Share your details with an NFC tap, a QR scan or your profile link.
One card, two parts.
The printed card carries the artwork you approve when ordering. The digital profile contains the contact details and links you choose to share online. You can choose different information for each.
What happens when someone taps?
- They hold a compatible NFC phone near the card’s reading area.
- The phone offers to open your PAUT profile link.
- Your profile opens in the browser. They can view your details, open your links or use Save contact.
If the phone does not read NFC, use the printed QR code or share the profile URL. NFC settings and the best tap position differ between phones. Opening the online profile needs an internet connection.
Try the experience before ordering.
In the PAUT designer, enter your details and generate the card. Choose Preview tap experience to see the digital profile. Test Save contact and your links, then return to the card preview to review both sides and any artwork changes.
After you place an order.
PGLAB reviews the paid customer order, prepares the card and its NFC/QR link, and activates the profile as part of production. A draft preview is not the same as an active public profile.
Keep your details up to date.
Sign in to My PAUT with the email used for your order. Update the digital details and keep the same permanent profile link. Printed text and artwork stay as originally produced, so a physical design change needs a new card.
Share only what you want public.
Anyone with your active profile link can view the information you publish. Review the online fields before saving. You can keep a detail out of the digital profile even if it appears on the printed card, or do the reverse.
